Mood Swing (March 26, 2026)
/This week’s list is extra special, because it’s the last you’ll be hearing from me (Phoebe, your usual Mood Swing curator) for two whole months! I’m fleeing Vancouver and heading off to Southeast Asia for a trip I feel alarmingly underprepared for as a chronic over-planner.
We’ll have awesome guest writers keeping Mood Swing going while I’m gone, but before I go off to embrace spontaneity, here’s a bit more of my signature research. ARCADE ART SHOW ☆ Fingerprint Gallery presents Future Past, an immersive solo exhibition from artist James Acrow featuring handcrafted arcade machines that blend retro nostalgia with street art aesthetics. Meet the artist at the opening reception this Friday, March 27, or check out the show while it’s on until April 5.
