MOOD SWING (APRIL 23, 2026): FREE + CHEAP VANCOUVER EVENTS
/Art from Ash Contois (IG @delusional_jellyfish) titled "Alien Insect Ready for Inspection." This will be available as a print during the Slice of Life "BUGS" art collective show this Friday, April 24.
We’ve officially entered that chaotic, beautiful stretch of spring where the sun is out, the cherry blossoms are doing their thing, and half the city is either thriving or absolutely taken out by seasonal allergies.
If we haven’t met yet—hi! It’s Lindsey again, stepping in as your guest Mood Swing curator while Phoebe is away. Last week you had Becca, this week you’ve got me, and honestly… I’m just here trying to romanticize sneezing fits and convince you to leave your house.
The good news: Vancouver is wide awake right now. The calendars are filling up, the art is art-ing, and there are plenty of reasons to say yes this weekend (even if you’re bringing tissues in your tote).
Don't forget to subscribe to the Mood Swing newsletter to get the best low-cost Vancouver arts and culture events straight to your inbox every Thursday!
