Mood Swing (May 28-June 3, 2026)

An image from last week’s anti-fifa art build at mclean park.

I know the new season doesn’t technically start until the summer solstice, but June 1 always feels like the first day of summer to me. The days are long, my cheeks are perpetually pink, and I’m regularly leaving the house without a jacket.

Vancouver summers are precious. While the fall is for being creative, the winter for resting, and the spring for being productive, summer feels like the perfect time for experiences and connection — which is what Mood Swing is all about. I’ll keep bringing you the best arts and culture events all summer long, so don't forget to subscribe to the Mood Swing newsletter to get the list straight to your inbox every Thursday!

DRAWING FROM MEMORY ☆ This monthly comedy show challenges the audience to flex their artistic muscles and draw prompts from comedians completely from memory.
